HNM is awesome! Two of my children have attended this school! My oldest is now a sophmore in FSU. My other child is currently in 8th grade. This is an amazing school with caring teachers. My son even hit a few bumps along the way, but all the teachers were supportive, helpful and fair. Great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this school to any family. Too bad we are moving out of the area. We will really miss Holley-Navarre Schools.

This school has got to be the best school in Florida! Not only academically and P.E wise, but the teachers and staff made the kids feel welcome. They show their care for the student body. I have attended three middle schools this year. I wish i could've stayed in Navarre. But thats where my heart is. Holley Navarre is a comfort zone for everyone. The kids that go there get along well with everyone, though some have their drama issues. But we're kids, what else is expected, right? :] The staff works hard, kids, everyone. Just how it should be. The way the teachers interact with their students is great. Their methods are fun and keep everyone hard at work. Fact for everyone who attended HNMS; they have the ability and confidence to achieve any of their goals wherever they may be in their future.

I absolutely love HNMS. The other schools I went to were hard, and classes were very boring. When I went to HNMS they made me feel great and I soon had A honor roll. The teachers are fun and yet they can teach us at the same time. The school has the students, teachers, parents, and staff helping one another. Sure there are bullies but the staff has made most of them turn into people that are great friends. I feel right at home when I am in the school.

I agree totally! I've met Ms. Holloway and she's not only very professional, but very personable as well. We were concerned being a military family that it would be tough for our daughter, but everyone there was so welcoming, and my daughter made us promise to not make her change schools again! I dont know what it was like in '03, but today we're very proud Bulldog parents!

My student has for years had problems adapting to new schools. Ms holloway made my son feel so at home, she has sense of humor, and very friendly. He's doing so good now. We're very proud.

My daughter is a sixth grade student at HNMS. My oldest daughter attended Woodlawn Middle School. We are very happy with the change in attitude at HNMS. Woodlawn seems to be too class distinctive where at HNMS, the students are challenged and outside influences are kept to a minimal where possible. Discipline issues are dealt with fairly. At HNMS, students are expected to earn their grades and teachers reinforce this attitude. Thank goodness for a school that cares about the kids academically, pushes each child to reach their full potential and rewards based on individual achievement of that personal potential.

I disagree with the prior comments. My oldest son is in 8th grade, and has been attending Holley-Navarre schools since he started kindergarten. We just attended an open house last night, where we went through an abbreviated version of our child's schedule. I have never had a teacher issue with any of my son's teachers at HNMS, and after meeting this year's group, I have to say I'm more than satisfied. My son is a good student, also - A honor roll and National Junior Honor Society. When we have had bully issues (few and far between) that he has not been able to resolve on his own, we have had no problem getting assistance from faculty members. I love HNMS, and would (and do) highly recommend them at every opportunity. P.S. - Judging from last night's attendance, I would say there is a parent involvement issue before there is a teacher involvement issue.

HNMS does not deal with discipline problems. The bullies and brats rule the school. My child is a good student and is being eaten alive by them. Many students have transferred away for similiar reasons. Beware!!!

teachers worry to much about their personal life dureing school hours, and not enough about the student.
